Take a look at Cornwall's latest homes under the hammer - including a "character" cottage in a village, town centre flats and a barn conversion on an exclusive development. Several plots of land owned by Cornwall Council are also up for sale.

If you'd rather build your own home from scratch, land with planning permission for a bungalow near Launceston is among the Cornwall lots set to go under the auctioneer’s gavel next month. Auctioneers say builders and self-builders alike may be interested in the "good sized plot" in a popular hamlet.

They are also expecting interest from developers in a site near Redruth town centre with planning permission for four houses. The West End Works, in Hoskings Row, is a former carpenter’s workshop and outbuildings.

And if you've got your eye on a possible business opportunity, Rosevean Off-Licence in Penzance is due to be auctioned for a guide price of £95,000+. Auctioneers say the new owner could continue with its current use or look at converting it into a single house or two flats.

They are among 147 lots listed in the latest auction being held by Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers. Bidding for the auction, the eighth and final of the year, goes live on Monday, December 9, and ends on Wednesday, December 11.
