There were delays on the A390 in Cornwall this morning, Tuesday, January 21, following a crash involving a cyclist. One lane of the road was closed with slow traffic building in the area after a reported bike crash.
Roads and traffic monitoring site Inrix first reported the crash at 8.35pm. It said: "Reports of slow traffic due to accident, a car and a bike involved on A390 Highertown Westbound from A39 Morlaix Avenue (Arch Hill) to Station Road (Sainsbury's / County Hall Roundabout)."
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called at 8.20am on Tuesday 21 January following a collision involving a car and a cyclist on the A390 at Penstraze.
"The cyclist sustained minor injuries and will be going to hospital to be checked over."

A390 traffic clears

Traffic returned to normal and all lanes open, accident cleared on A390 Highertown Westbound from A39 Morlaix Avenue (Arch Hill) to Station Road (Sainsbury's / County Hall Roundabout).
Second two-vehicle crash in Truro
Police were called to the scene of a separate two-vehicle crash in Truro.
Police were called at 8.15am on Tuesday 21 January following reports of a two-vehicle collision on the A390 at Tresillian near Truro.
A lane towards Truro was closed as a result.
No injuries have been reported.
The road has since cleared.
