A man and a woman were arrested following a police operation in St Ives. Local officers tracked down a man wanted for a serious assault in the town and detained a woman in connection with drug offences yesterday (Wednesday, January 29).
The man has been wanted since an alleged assault last summer. During his arrest, officers discovered a large quantity of Class A and B drugs, and a machete-sized knife.

Meanwhile, a woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
